The new Zeekr 7X is a mid-size crossover targeted towards families. It will go on sale in China before the end of the year priced from 239,900 Yuan, and will later come to Europe as well.

The model is 4,825 mm (188.5 inches) long, 1,930 mm (75.4 inches) wide and 1,656 mm (64.7 inches) tall with 2,925 mm (114.3 inches) between the axles. Like the Zeekr 007 sedan that it shares the platform with, the 7X has a LED panel at the front end and large displays in the cabin. In fact, most of the styling is the same across the two. The only big difference is that the transmission lever now resides on the steering column.

The infotainment system makes use of two displays 13 and 15 inches large. A third display mounted on the back of the front right seat can be seen in the gallery below, but the company doesn’t mention it. We suppose it could be a premium feature available in the top trim. In contrast, heated and ventilated seats will be available in all trims – even for the back row.

In its most affordable spec, the Zeekr 7X relies on a single e-motor driving its rear axle with 421 PS (415 hp / 309 kW). The same motor is used in the 007. Paying extra gets you an additional e-motor for the front end, driving up the total output to 646 PS (637 hp / 475 kW).

Buyers will be choosing from two battery sizes – 75 and 100 kWh. The smaller one is the fastest to charge thanks to 800V power architecture support and certain design optimizations. Zeekr claims it takes 10 minutes and 30 seconds to get the charge up from just 10 to 80 percent. Depending on your chosen motor/battery combo, the range can vary from 605 to 780 kilometers (376–484 miles).

Opting for the top trim gets you 20-inch wheels, adaptive shock absorbers and air cushions in the suspension that allow adjusting the clearance within the range of 190 to 230 mm (7.4–9 inches).

The pricing details are still pending, but Zeekr representatives promised during the initial reveal that the SUV would cost less than 300,000 Yuan even with all the option boxes ticked.
