Audi has unveiled the Q6 e-tron, its next all-electric crossover utility vehicle and one of the best so far, judging by the specs.

The Q6 e-tron is the Ingolstadt marque’s first vehicle to be running on the new PPE chassis introduced by Porsche with the new Macan EV. The Audi is 4,771 mm (186.4 inches) long, 1,993 mm (77.9 in) wide and 1,648 mm (64.4 in) tall with 2,899 mm (113.3 in) between the axles. The default trunk size of 526 liters (18.6 cubic feet) goes up to 1,529 l (54 cu. ft.) with the seats folded. There’s also a 64-liter frunk.

Inside, the dashboard is gently curved and houses two OLED screens – 11.9 and 14.5 inches large. The steering wheel has four spokes. Paying extra can get you a 10.9-inch display for the front passenger, a heads-up display with an 88-inch projection area, and a 22-speaker Bang&Olufsen audio.

In its base trim, the Q6 e-tron has two electric motors and 388 PS (383 hp / 285 kW). This lets it sprint 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 5.9 seconds and hit 210 km/h (130 mph) at most. The S trim ramps up the output to 517 PS (510 hp / 380 kW), reducing the sprint time to 4.3 seconds and bumping the top speed to 230 km/h (143 mph). In the United States, the base trim will be getting a boost to 462 PS (456 hp / 340 kW), Audi says.

The traction battery is rated at 100 kilowatt-hours and 625 km (388 miles) of range. It supports 270kW charging current, replenishing enough charge in 10 minutes for 255 km (158 miles) of driving. Charging from 10 to 80 percent will take roughly 21 minutes.

Later on, the company plans to release coupe-like Sportback variants of the Q6 e-tron and two RWD trims. It is Audi’s first EV scheduled for production at a factory in Ingolstadt, Germany. The first deliveries are planned for Q3, and the prices will start from €74,700.
