Mansory unveils a 1,050-PS Audi RS 7
The opulent Audi RS 7 saloon enjoys quite a bit of aftermarket attention as is, and now, those looking for a makeover may consider the latest offer from Mansory. In the tuner’s usual fashion, everything gets redesigned from the exterior to the cabin and – especially – the engine.
Working with a range-topping RS 7 Performance spec, the company somehow raises the power output from 630 PS (621 hp / 463 kW) all the way to 1,050 PS (1,035 hp / 772 kW). The torque also jumps from 850 Nm (627 lb-ft) to 1,200 Nm (885 lb-ft).
We don’t have any dynamic performance numbers, but since the stock car manages to go 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 3.3 seconds, the tuned one should be good for a sub-3-second sprint.
The exterior is typical Mansory with a redesigned front end, carbon trim bits in the bumper, carbon side skirts and mirror caps, and a massive rear diffuser made from the same lightweight material. Sporty aftermarket rims with bright orange accents fill out the arches remarkably well.
No less Mansory is the interior, which uses bright orange leather for the steering wheel, the dashboard, the seats, the center console and the door panels. Even the safety belts are orange. Black contrast stitching helps dilute this sea of color somewhat, as do expensive-looking black trim pieces with golden ornaments on the doors and the dash.
