Manhart puts another 140 horses into BMW X3 M Competition
The BMW X3 isn’t exactly a slouch of the compact SUV world, and its M Competition version is even faster with 510 PS (503 hp / 375 kW) heading for the wheels along with 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque. Still, Manhart reasoned it could use some more power tuning.
With a custom exhaust system featuring sports-grade catalysts and downpipes, as well as a comprehensive ECU remap, the SUV began outputting 650 PS (641 hp / 478 kW) to the wheels along with 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) of torque. The 100-mm (4-inch), carbon-wrapped quad exhaust tips are the only exterior indication of the engine tuning.
Should you need more, however, Manhart has you covered with a carbon body kit including a front spoiler, side skirts, a roof spoiler and a rear diffuser. The display car here is wearing staggered 22-inch rims, but the company has plenty of other options on the menu.
Carbon accents on the steering wheel and the paddle shifters wrap up the modifications. If you need a full interior makeover, Manhart can do that, too.
