Hurry if you want this low-mileage Land Rover Defender restomod

A Land Rover enthusiast imported this Defender 110 pickup from the UK into the USA in 2020 and handed it over to HHH Heritage for a full restoration. It was a big success, and the result fetched a six-digit sum at an auction a few years later. Now, the same SUV is once again posted on Bring-a-Trailer with several hours left on the clock.

The base model is a normal 1993 Defender truck. HHH Heritage has replaced its powertrain, upgraded the suspension and revamped the interior while also brushing up the body somewhat. Starting with the core of the build, it’s a naturally aspirated 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine paired with a six-speed manual transmission. An interaxle diff lock, reinforced axles, two-speed transfer case and other modern niceties should result in a much more modern driving experience than the original could deliver.

With an added roll cage, a rugged body kit and a fresh coat of black paint, this Defender surely looks like a treat. Both bumpers and all fenders are new, and the arches are occupied by 18-inch wheels shod in 33-inch mud tires.

An Alpine infotainment system hooked up to some custom speakers, a new steering wheel, air conditioning and an engine start button sum it up for the interior. The odometer shows meager 1,126 km (700 miles) of post-restoration mileage, so it still drive like a dream.

A couple of years ago, the same restomod went up on BaT sale and found a new owner for $130,000. This time around, though, the bidding has stalled at $82,500, so you might have some luck getting it for less.
