Ferrari supercars have often received custom bodywork from experienced and renowned coachbuilders like Zagato, but the Ferrari EB-Million seen here is, shall we say, built different.
The seller, who is asking eye-watering €122,500 for the car in Germany, claims the body design is unique and meant for “individualists” to enjoy, not “average” people. This checks out as far as we are concerned, because the poor ride no longer resembles the Ferrari Mondial T (see video) that it was based on. Instead, it looks more like a shoddy replica based on a Pontiac Fiero or other such platform. In any case, you can still find a reasonably used Mondial T in Europe for €50,000–100,000, so this one packs a hefty premium.
What does it have to show us for being so expensive? Well, there are fender-mounted headlamps that look like they were stolen from TVR, a rear end that could pass for a stand-up comedian’s version of Pagani Zonda rear, and a huge roof scoop that may or may not be there just for show. The proportions are so all over the place, we won’t even start discussing them.
A peek inside reveals two seats left out of the original’s four and shrill yellow fabric upholstery all around. Other than that, the cabin isn’t shown in detail.
Power for the butchered Mondial T is supplied by its stock 3.4-liter V8 paired with a manual transmission. It should still be close to the original 300 PS (296 hp / 221 kW) and 324 Nm (240 lb-ft) of torque. There’s no tuning and no mention of mileage, but the seller claims the powertrain has been completely overhauled, so it should be good to go.
The question is, would you ever consider owning a car like this?
