Japanese tuner envisions a sportier BMW M4 in bright purple
Japanese tuning company 3D Design has built a special BMW M4 coupe with a Twilight Purple paint job and a boosted engine.
Aside from the eye-catching livery, the pre-facelift M4 features a new body kit consisting of a front splitter, a rear diffuser and a spoiler. All parts are made from carbon fiber and serve to improve the downforce at higher accelerations – at least, that’s what 3D Design claims without providing any specific figures.
20-inch lightweight forged wheels sit snugly in their arches, and a glimpse behind the spokes reveals calipers of a heavy-duty brake system from Brembo. In turn, the inline-six under the hood gets a software tune-up from 510 PS (503 hp / 375 kW) to 570 PS (562 hp / 419 kW). The torque goes up to 770 Nm (568 lb-ft).
