Reports: Stellantis looking for a CEO to replace Tavares
26-09-2024 13:30
With its sales plummeting and profits vanishing, the U.S. automotive corporation finds itself questioning the capabilities of its leader, Carlos Tavares.
Tavares has been the Stellantis CEO since the foundation of the alliance, but his current contract has a five-year term that runs out in January 2026.
The automaker hasn’t given any comments yet. Josh Elkann, Board Chairman, ventured the opinion that the company might reelect Tavares once his employment term is over. Still, rumors are abundant that the shareholders are dissatisfied with his performance and insist on a replacement.
