Tesla Model Y sales crash hard in Europe
28-06-2024 11:00
The Tesla Model Y found 49% less buyers in the EU in May 2024 than it did in the same month the year before, when it was still deemed an international bestseller.
With only 10,582 units sold, the electric SUV fell from the 1st position of the local rating to the 18th. Europe’s traditional sales leaders – the Volkswagen Golf and T-Roc – continued their struggle for the top position, once again highlighting the fact that the whole market didn’t crash – only the EV segment did.
Dacia Sandero landed on the 3rd position this May.
