Starting with the CT5-V, it is inspired by the original Le Monstre racer the company built specifically for the 1950 Le Mans marathon. The original had a unique body design and a massive V8 under the hood, but failed to score any major victories at the Le Mans and other tracks. Like that car, the modern sedan wears the number 2 on its sides along with an exclusive livery, blue carbon fiber accents and matching brake calipers. The interior stays stock except for some badges and embroidery all around.
In turn, the CT4-V Blackwing Petit Pataud gets its styling inspiration from the iconic Cadillac Series 61 that a driver called Petit Pataud drove in the same Le Mans race. It gets pretty much the same styling cues as the CT5-V except for the starting number (3 instead of 2) and trim color (black instead of white).
Cadillac facelifted both Blackwing sedans earlier this year, so check out the video if you missed it.
